Furtat Y. Methods and means of informational and technological support of personalized adaptive user interaction with automated system

The analysis has been conducted of the current state of the problem of increasing the user's information interaction efficiency in automated systems, which originated from the increasing number of automated systems for various purposes and the amount of information user has to process in the decision-making process. Review of publications dedicated to research related to this problem showed that although the topic discussed has been the subject of many studies already and the results of some of them are partly implemented as software, the possibility of a comprehensive user system information interaction adaptation was never studied. The principles of a complex user-system information interaction adaptation approach are stated. As the basis of the complex approach the cognitive approach to information exchange adaptation is regarded, that focuses on the users' characteristics that affect the quality and comfort of information perception and processing, their cognitive portraits. Work process and domain features are taken into account in the complex approach to create initial adapted information presentation to be displayed for the user.
