The thesis has solved topical scientific problem concerning intensification of air dedusting process in the context of aspiration systems of preparation plants. Rules of changes in ion concentration within interelectrode space as well as their removal from the space while applying monopolar impulse corona discharge to ionize air have been determined. Moreover, rules to charge aerosol particles within a field of impulse monopolar corona discharge in terms of short impulses and their significant porosity have also been identified. Experimental research has been applied to obtain characteristics of ionized flow in the context various voltage pulses helping select a mode for aerosol charging. A technique to intensify air dedusting process in the context of aspiration systems of preparation plants has been developed. Operating results have been recommended to be used while elaborating measures aimed at complex dedusting of working areas of "TSZF Pavlogradska" and in the process of current aspiration system intensification.
