In this dissertation the spectrophotometric methods of identification of dental filling light curing composites are proposed, experimentally proved and implemented for improving the evaluation criteria for dental treatment the hard tissues' defects after using therapeutic techniques. As a result, a localization of dental hard tissues' lesions among a population of Transcarpathian region was analyzed and the most spread light curing composite filling materials used in clinical practice were by clinical and epidemiological studies. An effectiveness of spectrophotometric laboratory identification methods applied to dental filling materials by registering the coefficients of reflectivity, absorption and light flux transmission on wavelength from 400 to 780 nm was theoretically and experimentally proved. A database of spectrophotometric coefficients' standards for the most common original dental light curing color was created for further comparative studies of filling composites' samples in the cases of examination commission for dental treatment, persons' identification by dental status and detection of falsified dental products in forensic examinations. A method of "three standards" and new computer program "Spectrophotometry" were offered to evaluate the results of spectrophotometric study and for automatic processing and comparison of identification results.
