The thesis is devoted to the development of tools and practical recommendations for the regulation the process of vertical integration in the mining and steel industry. The content of the concept of "vertically integrated structure" was investigated; the theoretical approaches to determining the stages of the life cycle of the industry and vertically integrated structure were summarized. The classification of synergies from the process of vertical integration was improved; the consistency regulation of vertical integration, which includes a number of steps that should be implemented consistently, ensuring effective regulation of vertical integration, aimed at improving the efficiency of their occurrence, was improved. The methodical approach to the regulation of vertical integration taking into account the synergy effects was proposed. The methodical approach to determining the appropriateness of regulation of vertical integration process in the mining and steel industry in view of the stages of the life cycle and the methodical approach to determining the direction of regulation of integration processes were grounded. Synergetic and anergetic effects of vertical integration processes in the mining and steel industry and the national economy were calculated. The factors influence on integration processes and their results was evaluated, the mechanism of regulation of vertical integration process was proposed, and the forecasting of its results was made.
