Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of the physiological characteristics of winter wheat lines containing rare alleles of gliadin- and glutenin-coding loci in relation to the grain quality and flour baking properties. It was shown that introgression lines of winter wheat, containing genes from wild relatives Aegilops cylindrica and Aegilops tauschii, and rare alleles of Gli-/Glu-coding loci have a higher flag leaf net photosynthetic rate at flowering stage compared to standard varieties.
