The thesis deals with elaboration of the problems of the organizational and legal basis of activity of The police authorities of the Baltic states and definition of the ways of realization of the experience of the police authorities of the Baltic states (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) as a part of Ministry of Internal Affairs during reforming of law-enforcement bodies of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Ukrainian police. In this work was examined organizational and legal basis, the purpose, the task, the functions of Police of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and their organizational structure, was investigated the essence of administrative activity of police and interrelations with other state bodies, public organizations and the population.
