Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of pairs of potent matrices up to similarity. One receives canonical forms of pairs of idempotent matrices (over an arbitrary field) with generalized commutativity and generalized annihilation conditions. One receives a criterion of tameness for pairs of annihilating matrices. For all the above pairs of matrices of finite type one calculates the matrix Auslander algebra and its discrete parameters.
