According to the results of comprehensive study of clinical signs, peroxidation system condition, energy supply and markers of myocardial damage and heart failure in children with anthracycline cardiomyopathy with the background of the acute leukemia, and considering the results of experimental study of the cardioprotection mechanisms’ influence on the rats’ myocardium under the conditions of simulated toxic cardiomyopathy, it was proven the effectiveness of levokarnitine supplementation of the protocol treatment of such children.
