Essay

The dissertation studies the contemporary Polish historiography of status of Ukrainian lands in the interwar Poland. The thesis notes that the concept of the "contemporary Polish historiography" is ambiguous by its nature due to the fact that a significant part of the research contains works of the Ukrainian historians. In dissertation completeness of scientific development has been determined, historiographical sources have been classified, theoretical and methodological bases of research have been determined. Areas of thematic directions have been identified for carrying out scientific research.
