The object - the risk management in the activity of the classification society; goal is the development of theoretical positions and methodological foundations of economic risk management in the activity of the classification society; methods - economic analysis, probability theory and mathematical risk theory, optimization method, queuing theory; the results - for the national classification society developed methodological framework and tools to protect their own interests against the risks of professional errors in the services of maritime transport, including with the participation of "suppliers" of special services based on the use of methodological principles of risk management theory and taking into account the peculiarities of this type of economic activity; introduced - the development of the research theme "Theoretical Foundations of logistics enterprises of maritime transport" (state registration number 0106U001629); lectures and practical training of discipline "Management of maritime transport" (the act of 23.09.2014) at the Odessa National Maritime University; methodical positions for insurance of risks under the control of the quality of service supplies are used in economic activity of the Shipping Register of Ukraine; branch -economics and manage-ment of enterprises (by economic activity types).
