Object of the research - information technology of power management of portable computers; purpose of the research - increasing the energy efficiency of use of the autonomous energy sources and, hence, increasing the autonomous operating time of the modern portable computers based on energy-saving task scheduling; methods of the research - Kalman filtering method, statistical analysis, constraint programming method , methods of object-oriented analysis and design; results - models and methods implemented in engineering algorithms and corresponding software tools that create applied information technology of energy-saving task scheduling in terms of autonomous work of portable computers, which is a scientific basis for improving environmental performance of modern portable computers; novelty - for the first time the model of autonomous work of the portable computer for energy-saving scheduling was developed, which is based on the joint use of models of energy consumption of the portable computer, breakdown characteristic of the accumulator battery and schedule of the tasks, which allows for planning by solving two-criteria optimization problem; for the first time a method of adaptable scheduling of the tasks in terms of autonomous work of the portable computer based on the undetermined schedule model was developed, which differs from conventional approaches with the use of parametric identification of the accumulator battery models and diagram of energy consumption of the portable computer that allows to implement the requirements for service quality and duration of the autonomous work; information technology of power management of portable computers received further development in the part of creation of models and methods of development of energy-saving software; the results are implemented in the IT-company "Sigma Software" (Kharkiv), National Aerospace University named after N.E. Zhukovskiy "KhAI"; field of application - portatable devices.
