Essay

In the thesis early opera works of G. Rossini are analysed in details. They are relating to comic genre and belong to two genre and style models: standard Italian opera buffa and one-act farce. The conclusion is drawn that, despite the typified structure, each of five farces has differences and includes lines of other genres (lyrical comedy, burlesque, semi-seria). On the basis of t analysis of farces and two early comic operas buffa, it was found out that the majority of style signs, characteristic for mature works of the composer, were created already at the beginning of his career. The interpretation of difficult effective ensembles, choice of vocal roles, reception of crescendo, independent value of orchestral party in creation of comic effects are relating to them. In the work is offered own periodization, which includes four stages of evolutionary development: early, transitional, maturity stage, and late Parisian period.
