Essay

Impersonal syntactic structures were classified and the frequency of their use in the texts of various disciplines in the humanities was calculated. The information structure of sentences with impersonal syntactic structures was analyzed. Their communicative and pragmatic function was found out. Impersonal structures express propositional attitude, function as a focus.
