Essay

The object of the study - the processes in the Earth - ionosphere waveguide. Objective of the study is to develop new radiophysical methods for diagnostics of lower ionospere and thunderstorm monitoring by analysing pulse signals of natural origin in the ELF - VLF frequency range. Results: new methods for lightning location and for estimating electron density in D-layer of lower ionosphere and Earth - ionoshere waveguide height. The application area is radiophysics and ionosphere physics.
