Thesis is a comprehensive monographic study of the theoretical and practical problems of legal regulation of apprehending a person suspected of committing a criminal offense, under the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine in 2012. The author clarified the aims, the grounds and time of the person detention. The illuminated remedial order detention of a person without an order of the investigating judge, trial and highlighted features of detention for the purpose of issue.
