Essay

The thesis comprises of theoretical and experimental data of the acidifiers’ usage effectiveness determination in young meat-type quails nutrition. The course of changes in quails’ productivity has been established. The evaluation of morphological and biochemical composition of blood has been implemented. The digestibility of nutrients, balance of Nitrogen, Calcium, Phosphorus, Zinc, Manganese, Copper and Iron in quails’ organism, depending on the type and levels of acidifiers in feed has been determined. The chemical and amino acids composition of birds’ tissues has been investigated. The efficiency of usage of lactic acid and acidifier based on the lactic acid with the mineral elements addition has been proved and the optimal levels of their application have been established. The acidifiers’ influence on productivity, feed disposal, slaughter performance, chemical composition of meat and amino acids composition of quails liver, morphological and biochemical parameters of blood,microbiological parameters of thin and blind guts content of meat-type quails have been investigated. In order to improve the productivity of Pharaoh quails species, product quality, feed costs diminishing and improving the efficiency of production in general, it is recommended to use lactic acid in level 0.5 ml/100 g of mixed fodder; liquid acidifier based on lactic acid with the addition of mineral elements in level 0.3 ml/100 g of mixed fodder during 1–35 days.
