Essay

The object of study - the scattering of electromagnetic waves on an invisibility and mimicry cloaks. The goal - the research within the framework of transformational optics the influence of the coordinate transformation parameters and schemes on the scattering characteristics of invisibility cloaks that is of interest to solve the problem of the singularity their material parameters and the development of devices with new physical properties. Using the transformational optics approach, proposed a new type of non-singular cloaks - mimicry cloaks, that providing the body that they cover the mimicry to the body of other predefined shape. A non-singular all-foreshortening cylindrical invisibility cloak-carpet of arbitrary section were suggested. It has been shown the possibility of the essential reduction of the electromagnetic waves scattering value from invisibility cloak, that is calculated numerically, by selecting a source functions values in the Poisson equation.
