Maksymyshyn N. Judicial inquiry: procedural and criminological research

Dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of legal, theoretical basics and features of judicial inquiry and development of scientific recommendations as well as to the tactics of inquiry in the criminal proceedings in court. The essence, legal nature and tasks of judicial inquiry and its types are revealed. The concepts "tactics of court proceedings in criminal cases" and "judicial inquiry tactics" are proposed. Scientific understanding of the concept and features of judicial inquiry is generalized. The concepts and features of cross-examination, chess examination, simultaneous, repeated and extra judicial interrogation are improved on the basis of the study. Advisability of guiding questions during cross-examination in court as well as other kinds of questions in other types of judicial inquiry is highlighted. A typical training program for conducting a judicial inquiry, which contains a set of tasks to be solved at this stage, namely, making a written plan, is developed.
