Lernichenko K. The mechanism of functioning and development of the enterprises of passenger water transport based on public and private partnership

The thesis introduces and scientifically rationalizes the concept of "local passenger water transport" which means water transport that provides services suggested by certain companies regarding passengers transportation in the water area of the city, suburban and interurban areas (river, sea); providing services for fleet and different users within certain coastal maintenance base. The formed the mechanism of functioning and development of local enterprises that deal with passenger water transportation based on public and private partnership. The main instruments of such a mechanism are the approach to determining the potential demand for passenger transport by entrepreneurs, methodical approach to consistency between the terms of contracts of public and private partnerships and the algorithm of tariff system for services, which are provided by local companies of passenger water transport.
