The concept, essence and types of judgments, the bases, conditions and an order of their acceptance in a stage of pre-judicial investigation, in the course of production in court of the first, appeal and cassation instances, in the course of production in the Supreme Court of Ukraine, and also questions of the introduction of the judgment in validity and an order of his execution are investigated. A number of the offers concerning improvement of the criminal procedural law regarding standard regulation of adoption of judgments in criminal trial is formulated.
