Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the improvement of the existing equipment for the processing of light industry waste having different physical and mechanical properties, able to improve energy efficiency of crushing processes as well as service life of rotary crushers. Generalized classification scheme of types of light industry waste and methods of its mechanical crushing is developed. Mathematical model of rotary crusher dynamics is developed, which allows for calculation of its cinematic and power parameters depending on the type of the waste being processed, and may be used by engineers during rotary crushers engineering. Deformation properties of the light industry waste during its crushing in rotary crushers were experimentally researched. There was performed experimental research of dynamics of the drive of the rotary crusher for processing of the light industry waste, which confirms the adequacy of the developed mathematical model to the real crushing processes. There was proposed a method for engineering the light industry waste processing equipment. There was proposed a new design of the flexible coupling with the cylindrical tension coil springs, which proved its efficiency during experimental and production trials.
