Essay

Following general theory of the activity structure this study theoretically explained and experimentally tested a model for training the Information and Communication Competencies of the Humanitarian Faculties in three levels: basic, advanced and professional. According to the educator’s activity every IC Competencies level is proposed by appropriate tools. The studied model of developing the Information and Communication Competencies of the Humanitarian Faculty’s academic staff proved its effectiveness. The syllabus for training course “Developing the Information and Communication Competencies of the Humanitarian Faculty’s academic staff” could be also used for a postgraduate training of educators.
