Essay

The dissertation studies the impact of physical (imposition of mechanical vibrations, thermal cycling) and chemical (addition of boron and compounds based on boron) methods of structure formation activation and properties of compacts from powdered titanium hydride and its mixture of boron, titanium diboride and boron carbide powders in terms of speed heating and short-term exposures. Developed the physical principles of obtaining sintered titanium with a minimal amount of impurities and titanium-matrix composites with a sufficient level of physical-mechanical properties, for use them as a structural material, in the conditions of the most high-speed electronic-beam heating.
