Essay

Basing on the exact solutions of new plane static symmetrical problems of the theory of elasticity for wedge-shape bodies the investigation of stress of piece-homogeneous isotropic elastic body near the corner point of the media-separating boundary is completed. Character of changing of concentration level of the stress near the crack tip and near the corner point depending on the angle elastic constant is determined. The condition of the start of cracks is determined and stability of their equilibrium is investigated. For research the Wiener – Hopf method and the apparatus if Mallin integral transform were used.
