Chepernatui E. The main pests of strawberries and regulatory of it population in Forest-Steppe zone of Ukraine

The object of research - field crop rotation of strawberries, soil pests (Melolontha melolontha L., Elateridae, Agrotis segetum Schiff.), Epicometis hirta Poda, Tarsonemus fragariae Zimm, insecticides. The purpose - to study and improvement of the protection of industrial strawberry plantations from pest complex on the basis of the features of their biology and the use of environmentally safe and effective methods of controlling their numbers in the forest-steppe of Ukraine. Clarify herbivores species composition of strawberries in the fields of crop rotation, to identify the most dangerous; identify the features of their biology and harmfulness in strawberry plantations; to assess the sustainability of modern varieties of strawberries to damage Tarsonemus fragariae; determine the efficacy of various chemical groups against major pests of strawberries; to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of the protection of industrial plantations of strawberries from the main pests; improved methods of chemical protection against soil pests in the field of pure steam and planting of plants; improved methods of integrated plant protection by Epicometis hirta Poda. and Tarsonemus fragariae during the growing season in industrial plantations of strawberries. Methods: field and laboratory experiments, statistical method. Scientific innovation - the justified by the technical effectiveness of some modern preparations of insecticidal action against the Tarsonemus fragariae, Epicometis hirta Poda, soil pests. It proved the effectiveness of the release of Trichogramma against Agrotis segetum Schiff in plantations of strawberries. A fundamentally new system of protection of industrial plants of strawberry in the fields of crop rotation on the main pests, to given its economic assessment.
