Essay

The object of study: metabolic manifestations of the insulin resistance syndrome and diabetic nephropathy and their pharmacological correction. The arm of study: experimentally to evidence of the complex taurine-containing drug application efficiency for the correction of the cardiometabolic risk basic components under the metabolic syndrome condition and the diabetic nephropathy development suppression. Methods of the investigation and equipment: biochemical, physiological, histological, biophysical, pharmacological, statistical; the dual-beam spectrophotometer Specord UVVIS, the glucose express-analyzer "Ексан-Г", the veterinary cardiograph “Heart Screen 60g”, microscope. Theoretical and practical results: Received results discover the peculiarities of the complex taurine-containing drug biological activity and mechanism of the action. Conducted complex of the study gives the establishment for the widening of the spectrum of the complex taurine-containing drug pharmacological application, what can be used in the metabolic syndrome and diabetes mellitus pharmacotherapy. Given data Received results have become the base for the clinical trials, which result in alteration of the preparation "Kratal" medical application instruction. Novelty: For the fist time it has been revealed of the complex taurine-containing drug effect on such cardiovascular risk causes as insulin resistance, glucose intolerance, abdominal obesity, dyslipidemia, endothelial dysfunction and prothrombotic state in rats with metabolic syndrome of the distinct genesis, also it has been established it protective impact under diabetic nephropathy. Level of implementation: it has been given two corresponding patents: 1 patent of Ukrane № 101418, 1 patent of theRussian Federation № 2519744. Field of application: endocrinology.
