Protsenko A. Legal Regulation of Movement of Electronic Money in Ukraine

Thesis is devoted to the complex research of the legal regulation of electronic money movement in Ukraine. Theoretical and legal approaches to the understanding of the legal nature of electronic money are studied, it is substantiated that on the basis of evolutionary and functional theories of the origin of money, the electronic money is a new evolutionary form of money, which has got certain features. The legal basis for the movement of electronic money in foreign countries are analyzed, models of legal regulation of such movement (European and American) are distinguished. The legal support of e-money movement in Ukraine is characterized; main legal problems inherent in such regulation are identified.
