Kameneva N. The Ecological-Economic Safety Management of a Metallurgical Enterprise

The dissertation deals with the solving of theoretical and practical problems with the purpose to increase the efficiency of the ecological-economic safety management of a metallurgical enterprise. On the grounds of the theoretical research fulfilled, an improved definition of the concept of ecological-economic safety of an enterprise has been proposed. The method of ecological-economic safety management of a metallurgical enterprise has been improved by means of the use of the generalizing indices of the ecological-economic safety level and the comprehensive economic effect of ecological activities. The dissertation contains an analysis of the influence of the metallurgical sector on the environmental situation in Ukraine. That analysis determined the role of the ecological investment in the ecological-economic safety management of a metallurgical enterprise. A complex assessment of the effectiveness of the ecological-economic safety management of Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises has been done. The methodical foundations for the selection of the strategies of the ecological-economic safety management of a metallurgical enterprise have been proposed. The practical methods of ecological-economic safety management of metallurgical enterprises have been presented.
