The synthetic approaches to 1,6- and 2,6-functionalized spiro[3.3]heptanes has been developed. Particular attention to obtaining of all possible stereoisomers multifunctional compounds is paid. The structural features and biological activity of certain multifunctional spiro[3.3]heptanes have been investigated.
