Essay

The style of expressionism on the material of French prose about the First world war with using as research methodology the concept of "Poetics of Fire" of G. Bachelar's in the dissertation is investigated. The analyses of the style of novels of Henry Barbusse "Fire" and L.-F. Celin "Trip on the edge of night" is proved that the novel is bright embodiment of "Poetics of Fire" and standard of style of expressionism. Also, the dissertation examines three works in comparative terms, such as "Fire"of Henry Barbusse, "Red laughter" of L. Andreev, "Beyond the borders of the pain" of O. Turyanskiy.
