The dissertation deals with complex research of the principle of inviolability of property rights on the stage of preliminary investigation. Concept and characteristics of the principle of criminal proceedings are displayed. The legal nature of inviolability of property rights principle is studied. The analysis of international legal experience on ensuring inviolability of property rights is analysed. The place of the principle of inviolability of property rights in system of principles of criminal proceedings of Ukraine is determined.
