Vasylieva N. Forensic psychiatric assessment of mental disorders in women committed crimes against life and health of a person

Dissertation research is devoted to solving scientific and practical problems, which is to develop algorithm of forensic-psychiatric expert evaluation of mental disorders in women who commit crimes against life and health of a person to establish their ability to understand their actions and control them. The dissertation presents the results of the study 353 cases of women inpatient forensic psychiatric examination of these 172 subjects, accused of crimes against life and health of the individual and 181 of the subject without the aggressive tendencies during the commission of a socially dangerous act. In the presented forensic material determined the influence of socio-demographic, psychopathological, psychological and situational factors on the formation of aggressive behaviour of women. A comparative analysis revealed the social, clinical, personality predictors of risk of criminal aggression of women. In nosologic and syndromic level determined by the structure of the medical criteria of insanity and diminished responsibility of women who have committed crimes against life and health of the individual. Conducted structural analysis of socially dangerous acts committed by women, the constituents of the situational factor. A retrospective analysis of the comparative characteristics of the study groups to identify features and trends in the women with a criminal and aggressive behaviour. The study was proposed and implemented in the practice of forensic algorithm complex forensic psychological and psychiatric expert evaluation of the mental state of women who have committed crimes against life and health of the individual.
