Baylo O. Security of the right of an employee to protection of dignity under the labor legislation of Ukraine.

The dissertation is the first special complex research of theoretical and practical problems of security of employee’s right to protection of his dignity in modern domestic science of labor law under the labor legislation of Ukraine. The notion of dignity of an employee as a labour law category was defined in the thesis. The statutory inclusion of the right of an employee to protection of his dignity in international legal acts, legislative acts of Ukraine and legislation of certain foreign countries was researched. The legal nature and structure of an employee’s right to protection of his dignity as a subjective labor right were characterized. The forms of defense by an employee of his dignity while carrying out his labour activity, and in certain cases after its termination, were researched. The methods of defense of the dignity of an employee during his employment activity and in certain cases after its termination, were defined. Scientifically substantiated proposals for improvement of the acts of current legislation, Draft Labour Code of Ukraine in terms of security of the right of an employee to protection of his dignity were formulated.
