Object - keyed joints shear of building system concrete and reinforced concrete elements; aim - improving the strength calculation of keyed joints structural of elements of buildings on the basis of variational method in the theory of concrete plasticity; methods - comparative analysis of keyed strength calculating on existing methods; experimental study of keyed joints samples in the laboratory; comparative analysis of theoretical strength and the research one; novelty - new experimental data on deformation, fracture and breaking load of concrete (reinforced) keyed joints with different amounts of keys was obtained; variational method in the theory of concrete plasticity found further development in the calculation of the strength of building keyed joints structural elements by taking into account additional determinants; for the first time in the calculation of the strength of keyed joints by variational method it was taken into account round shape of cross cut of keys, asymmetrical and uneven compression reinforcement; multikey joints strength calculation was improved; results - comparative keyed joints strength calculation was implemented, formulated recommendations for the design of keys were summarized; dependence to account for the number of keys in assessing their strength was suggested; concrete elements keyed joints strength calculation by variational method was improved by taking into account additional determinants; recommendations for improving the design of joints "KUB-2,5" and "ARKOS" were given; industry - building
