Bandura I. Formation of government social policy in Ukraine

Object of study: State social policy. Objective: justification of theoretical and methodological foundations, developing scientific recommendations on the state social policy in Ukraine. Methods: analysis, synthesis, scientific abstraction, quantitative and qualitative comparison, observation, statistical, graphical, system-structural, modeling, prediction, hypotheses and assumptions formalization. Results: grounded theoretical and methodological principles developed scientific and practical recommendations on the state social policy in Ukraine. Novelty: developed the approaches to the formation of government social policy based on the combined use of certain types of (liberal (European, Anglo-Saxon, East Asian)); egalitarian (Scandinavian and socialist) and types (institutional, programmatic, structural); improved strategic directions of social development of Ukraine, which provides the optimal combination of requirements liberalism and social security; obtained the further development of principles to use the mechanism of realization of social policy and others. Introduced in the activities of the Committee for social policy, employment and of pension provision of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Kyiv Regional Council and Municipal Management Academy. Industries: public authorities, local authorities and government, enterprises, civil society organizations.
