Essay

The object of the research is the process of formation and development of the potential of the tourism industry of the national economy. The aim of the study is deepening of the theoretical positions and the development of methodological and scientific-practical recommendations on the formation and development of the potential of the tourism industry of Ukraine as a subsystem of the national economy. Methods are: systemic and structural approaches, induction and deduction, the methods of statistical and economic analysis, methods of expert assessments, interviews and analysis of hierarchies, the method of scenarios and methods of reflexive control, logical generalization method. The scientific novelty of the research is deepening of the theoretical positions and methodological approaches to the management and development of the potential of the tourism industry of the national economy. The conceptual provisions to improve the efficiency of the process of formation of the mechanism of management and capacity development of the tourism industry; complex methodological approaches to assessing the level of formation and use of the potential of the tourism industry; process control mechanism of the formation and development of the potential of the tourism industry were improved. the theoretical position of determining the economic essence of the potential of the tourism industry; scientific and methodical approach to the management of the potential of the tourism industry; the essential understanding of the problems of formation and use of the resource and territorial, economic and marketing potential of the tourism industry in Ukraine; regulatory policy tools in the tourism sector.
