The scientific work explains the theoretical positions, methodological approaches and practical recommendations for the individual components of the tariff mechanism and tariff policy of urban utilities; criteria for assessing the reasonableness of the tariff policy in view of increasing consumers' subjectivity. It is provided the scheme of interaction of socio-economic elements of the procedure for setting tariffs in the urban economy.
