Karnauh O. Features of clinic, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of dental caries in children with acid-dependent diseases.

Risk factors of caries process development in children with acid-dependent diseases have been stated in the dissertation aiming on optimization of methods of prophylaxis, treatment and prevention of further progression of changes in oral cavity and development of complications. The early diagnosis of changes in non-specific resistance of oral cavity has been improved by reveal of prognostic markers of caries in oral fluid. The program of diagnostic, treatment and prophylactic measures aiming on decrease of caries development has been elaborated for children with gastroenterologicdiseases characterized by gastroesophageal reflux. Further development has been achievement for study of immunoinflammatory and metabolic factors of dental caries formation in presence of accompanying acid-dependent pathology. Solvation of stated tasks made it possible to deepen the understanding of clinico-pathogenetic aspects of dental caries development in children with acid-dependent diseases. Prophylactic tactics for decrease of caries process development in children with gastroenterologic diseases accompanied by gastroesophageal reflux has been proposed for practical health service.
