The thesis includes a research of theoretical approaches evolution related to economical essence of "state control over direct foreign investments into technical support of the field" concept. It improves the methodical approach to the evaluation of general efficiency level of state regulation in the field of direct foreign investments attraction to the technical support of Ukrainian metallurgy, which lies in systematic unification of indicators, characterizing the investment and innovative development of the particular field and state as a whole. This in its turn enables to evaluate comprehensively the level of state policy efficiency occupied with foreign direct investments attraction for providing of economic growth at metallurgical enterprises in the process of their integration into the global world economy.
