The object of study: arterial hypertension in postmenopausal women with climacteric syndrome. Objective: improving the diagnosis and management of women with essential hypertension and climacteric syndrome which based on determining the characteristics of intracardiac, peripheral hemodynamics, indices of endothelial function and somato-vegetative symptoms. Methods: clinical; laboratory (metabolites of nitric oxide and endothelin-1 in plasma), instrumental (24-hour monitoring of blood pressure and electrocardiogram, echocardiography, ultrasonography of the carotid arteries, rheovasography of the brachial artery, compression test); statistical. Scientific novelty of the results: The clinical and instrumental study showed that changes in tone of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system in women with hypertension on the background of climacteric syndrome depend on the subjective assessment of the severity of somato-vegetative disorders. It was noted that the severity of endothelial dysfunction, disorders of intracardiac hemodynamics and peripheral blood flow depended on the severity of somato-vegetative climacteric syndrome. New data on the effectiveness of correction of blood pressure in women with combined treatment with moexipril and diltiazem. For the first time proved the feasibility of the differential use of drug combinations, depending on the severity of the somato-vegetative symptoms of menopausal syndrome.
