The dissertation is devoted to the development of convenient preparative approach to synthesis of heterocyclic systems based on the reaction of 3-[4-(2-bromoacetyl)phenyl]-2H-chromen-2-one, 4-[4-(2-bromoacetyl)phenyl]-3 hydroxy-2H-chromen-2-one, 3-[4-(2-bromoacetyl)phenyl]-1-methylquinoline-2(1H)-one with nucleophilic reagents. The conditions of synthesis of thiazole using three-component reactions have been developed. By the reaction of 4-metylpyridinium salts with 4-dimetylaminobenzaldehyde the biscyanine dyes were synthesized. With the help of biological studies of synthesized compounds a number of active substances that have antimicrobial and antifungal properties were found.
