The paper clarified concepts and content of the administrative and legal status of voluntary organizations. Characterized main activities of voluntary organizations. Considered administrative legislation on the organization of volunteer organizations. The system disclosed and powers of the administrative and legal regulation in the sphere of volunteer organizations. Forms of cooperation outlined volunteer organizations with executive authorities in the implementation of its administrative and legal status. It was shown the necessity and possibility of implementation of foreign experience of legal regulation of administrative and legal status and organization of volunteer organizations. Formulated specific proposals for improving the legal regulation of administrative and legal status and organization of volunteer organizations.
