Essay

The thesis is devoted to the improvement of efficacy of endodontic treatment of patients with chronic apical periodontitis due to the development of presented methods by new additional steps use by which root canals were processed by solutions for deep fluoridation and filling with ultrasound equipment. It was determined and manifested that deep fluoridation and ultrasound preparation of root canals allow achieving medium size of the microspace between filling material and tooth wall in 1,4 nm versus 10,8 nm during traditional treatment using scanning electron microscope and developed method of sizes' measurement of microspaces between walls of root canals and filling. Clinical part of investigations was devoted to comparative evaluation of results of patients' treatment with chronic apical periodontitis using developed and conventional methods. 62 patients were involved in clinical investigation. Efficacy of developed method of treatment was manifested accurately (p<0,05) with higher indices of differences between initial and final (in 6 months) indices of periapical-alveolar index and the biggest index of its relative change (78%) at developed method of treatment in comparison with conventional one (57%). Besides, it was determined, that developed method of treatment caused accurate decrease (p<0,05) and normalization of indices of tissue immunity of the oral cavity in 7 days after treatment (content of sIg A decreases in 2,3-3,0, and the content of lysozyme decreases in 1,4-1,9).
