Essay

Objekt: the texts of the prose fiction by Ukrainian and foreign writers of the late XX - early XXI century. Aim: to study the nature of musical ekphrasis in the prose fiction of the late XXth - early XXIth century. Methods: typological, structural-semiotical, phenomenological, hermeneutical, cultural, receptive. Scientific novelty: for the first in the Ukrainian literary criticism based on theoretical and practical analysis a common definition of music and its additionmal definitions was created, and that distinctly outlines the features of ekphrasis in the text and text-ekphrasis. Approved in 8 publications. The sphere of use: literature and high sckool practice.
