Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the theoretical foundations and the creation technology polymineral potash ore processing, which based on the conversion of potassium-magnesium minerals sodium sulfate in schoenite. It was found out that sodium sulfate promotes the conversion reaction of langbeinite in schoenite on the basis of experimental researches.Langbeinite conversion efficiency with sodium sulfate and potassium chloride in schoenite has been increasing with time and almost completed by 240 hours. The temperature effect on the langbeinite conversion efficiency in schoenite is investigated which highest value is achieved at temperatures 303 -323 K. The kinetic regularities of the langbeinite conversion process with sodium sulfate and potassium chloride in schoenite are investigated, the kinetic constant and reaction order are calculated, as well as the energy of activation and area of process course is defined. It was proposed and developed a new technology of polymineral ores processing in schoenite without chlorine by conversion of chloride potassium and potassium-magnesium minerals with natural mirabilite, which does not provide the formation of superfluous schoenite solutions. The composition of material flow by new technology is given. The process flow diagram is developed, the material balances of process are calculated. Performed the technical and economic calculations showed the high economic efficiency of new technology.
