Essay

This research is dedicated to the establishment of role of signaling mediators in jasmonate-induced development of plant resistance to abiotic stressors and to clarifying of concrete protective plant responses, which are developing under the influence of JA. In experiments the isolated wheat coleoptiles, millet plantlets, intact plants of millet and barley, and also plants of Arabidopsis of wild-type (Col-0) and jin1 mutant, defective on a jasmonate signaling, have been used. With the use of jin1 mutants of Arabidopsis it was established for the first time the role of JIN1/MYC2 transcript factor in jasmonate-induced intensification of functioning of antioxidative and osmo-protective systems under the influence of salt stress.
