Tolstushko N. Justification of parameters of the compression chamber of round baler of strip of flax.

The thesis deals with the improvement of the quality of bale-forming strip of flax on the basis of the improvement of the design of the pressing chamber with variable volume round baler and justification of the parameters of its working bodies due to disclousure of the process of formation the roll from strip of flax. The parameters and location of the spring-loaded frame of the baler based on the research of the formation of the roll in the bale chamber are justified in the thesis. Defined the tension force of the endless belts of the baler based on the research of the interaction of these belts with tensioning device and rollers of the baler and roll is determined. The parameters of springs, which is suspended a spring-loaded frame, justified on the basis of research of the interaction of the roll with working bodies of the pressing chamber. Identified length, diameter and moisture content of stems of flax on its mass; the arrangement of the layers of strips of linen in a roll on their density; the density and radius of the roll of tape on linen moment of inertia of the roll. The field tests of the improved baler were held and identified economic benefits from its use.
