Essay

The thesis deals with free-indirect speech through gender dimension. We have performed comparative and contrastive analysis of two gender styles (female-character vs male-character). The analysis of lexical, grammatical, communicative, pragmatic and stylistic features of male and female free-indirect speech has been carried out. It has been proved that emotionality, indirectness and adaptability to other views are inherent to female speech behavioral paradigm.
