Essay

It is analyzed the discourse and pragmatic features of an English Internet interview taking into account speaker’s age and gender. It is proved that Internet interview is defined as the genre of Internet discourse of the mixed type which has features common to Internet discourse and mass media discourse. It is discovered that the structure of Internet interview conforms to the factor of multiple addressee which is taken into account while organizing its content. It is stated that every strategy is realized by the set of tactics which are verbalized by certain liguistic means in singled out communicative situations.
