Essay

The dynamics of spreading PRSSV in Ukraine during the period 2005-2014 was analyzed. The results show fast tendency of spreading PRRSV. The exceptional variability of PRRSV and its influence on sensibility of different serological test-systems are well known. The comparison analysis of four serological test kits was made. The research showed considerable difference in its sensibility. This may indicate antigenic difference Ukrainian isolates of PRRSV with those that circulate in Asia, America and West Europe. The design and approbation of primers to conservation region of PRRSV for the future usage in routing diagnostics were made. Approbation of two pairs of primers to highly variable region ORF5 for farther phylogenetic analysis of PRRSV were held. Ukrainian isolates of PRRSV were isolated and phylogenetic analysis were made. The result of this analysis reviles heterogeneity of the PRRSV population in Ukraine and proves difference in its origin. The isolates, which were studied, showed the highest homology to Russian, Spain, Belorussia and Italy strains. The difference in pathogenesis of PRRSV circulating in Ukraine compared with American and West European isolates was shown.
